Reiner Knizia designed the popular Taj Mahal in 2000. It was published in Germany by Alea and in the United States by Rio Grande Games.
If you do not know this game, I strongly urge you to read the rules before proceeding.
I provide the Taj Mahal english rules. Jay Tummelson
of Rio Grande Games created the english rules and kindly allowed me to show them to you.
You can find the rules in other languages at the Alea website.
I provide no additional rules for the online version because I think it is intuitive
and needs no additional comment.
You may play Taj Mahal with humans or by yourself with 4 or 5 robot players. The robots are not as good as in Tycoon, but they should give most players a decent game.
Taj Mahal is a Java application. For download information, go back to the online page.
Some Taj Mahal online trivia
About the robot nuts ...
The robots in Taj Mahal all use the same code, so there is no personality
differences as in Tycoon. Half will play an elephants game, and half will
pursue connections. However, they will change their philosophy if they think it's
appropriate. The nuts have perfect memories. If they see you draw a faceup card,
they will not forget it, and they calculate odds on cards that they don't know.
This means their predictions become more accurate just before a reshuffle. In
general, they won't stay in if they think they will lose.
