Tycoon Online

Tycoon was designed by Wolfgang Kramer and Horst-Rainer Rösner in 1998 and released by Jumbo International. I suspect that it is out of print.

The server keeps track of every game played, so I occasionally update the scoreboard with new numbers.

Tycoon is a Java application. For download information, go back to the online page.

If you not have been here before, please do a quick scan of the rules.
There is user interface information there that you should know. In particular, you should note:

• In the control panel, press a button to do it; press again to undo it.
• You end your turn when you press "submit." Your turn is then sent to the server and to the other players. No one sees what you've done or undone until you press submit.
• The C button takes you to a chat panel. The button turns yellow when another player sends you a message.
• Press the P button to see player information. The $ values are estimates of what players will be worth at the next payday: cash - debt + income. It tells you how you are doing.
• If you exit a game, you cannot return. It was a real pain trying to implement re-entry, so I didn't.
